Gerson Lehrman Group Introduces GLG Research Management Platform Web-Based Application Offers Clients Expanded Search Capabilities, Real-Time Research Management Tools, and Oversight Controls That Facilitate Compliance
New York, NY, October 20, 2006 Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) today announced the launch of the GLG Research Management Platform (RMP) (http://www.glgroup.com/researchplatform.html), a web-based application that allows clients to efficiently manage their primary research and proprietary expert knowledge networks and to facilitate compliance oversight over their primary research activities.
RMP allows client-researchers to expedite and improve the results of their primary research projects and enables client-managers and compliance professionals to engage in real-time oversight of that research. As a result, RMP users increase the speed, effectiveness, and efficiency of their research.
GLG is a global leader in providing systems to manage expert consulting. These networks are drawn from the GLG Councils, industry-focused groups comprised of consultants, physicians, scientists, engineers, attorneys, market researchers and other professionals from around the world. With over 150,000 subject-matter experts, the GLG Councils deepen clients understanding of critical issues through a wide range of educational solutions, including telephone consultations, expert surveys and seminars.
"We are excited that our investments in technology continue to help our clients," said Alexander Saint-Amand, GLGs Chief Executive Officer. RMP is the first innovation in the primary research industry to provide clients with the tools they need to manage research projects in real time while allowing those clients managers and compliance professionals to control the primary research process at their firms."
For researchers using the new web-based application, RMP delivers enhanced search capabilities and research management tools to help clients more efficiently target custom research projects with GLG Council Members. These enhancements enable:
