Based on GLG CouncilRank™ , an algorithm that rates Council Members on implicit indications of value and quality in their interactions with clients, Members are eligible for additional benefits through membership tiers, known as GLG Council Member Programs.

GLG Council Membership has several tiers: three tiers of GLG Member Programs (Leaders, Scholars and Educators) as well non-Member Program Council Membership.
Council Members within the top 5% and 20% of the GLG Councils, based on GLG CouncilRank, are eligible to join the GLG Leaders or GLG Scholars programs, respectively. A third and more inclusive Council Member Program, GLG Educators, is driven by client or Council Manager nominations.

Only Council Members in GLG Member Programs are eligible to participate in ongoing in-depth consulting projects with GLG clients and may participate in GLG News and GLG Institute. Council Members who are employed must confirm their employer’s consent to their participation in GLG Member Programs in writing.
Program Members also receive unique web-based tools for project management and may be eligible for first access to new GLG products and services.
Those Council Members who meet the program requirements and agree to join these programs are highlighted in all client correspondence as GLG Leaders, Scholars or Educators, as shown below:
