At present the use of beta blockers preop has become standard. This study will change this as we now need to weigh the benefits cardiologically versus the cost neurologically. This will require much further study and conformation.

I believe that there is still controversy whether the use of local antifungals have a significant role in treating AFS (allegic fungal sinusitis). This study, if born out, suggests that this indeed may be the case. I know of many ENT"s who use antifungals. They may be right.
