Associates are responsible for managing and executing primary deliverables to add value to Gerson Lehrman Group clients. Associates gain a fundamental understanding of GLGs business model and client base through close coordination with senior members of the team while executing immediate client needs. Responsibilities include:

• Learning Gerson Lehrman Groups underlying business processes and assisting senior team members with high-level product execution, and developing a fundamental understanding of their practice areas industries:
• Fulfilling time-sensitive research requests delegated by senior team members on behalf of Gerson Lehrman Group clients by analyzing client requests, and building and qualifying primary populations of topic experts;
• Assisting senior team members with high-level service fulfillment by managing premium products including Market and Custom Surveys, Education Seminars, Roundtable luncheons, and Custom Research Trips;
• Develop a working knowledge of the practice areas core industries to improve project and product service quality

Suggested Background:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a Top tier undergraduate institution. Background in Finance or Economics, preferred
• 0-2 years experience in investment banking, consulting, or related field
• General understanding and awareness of financial markets
• Excellent verbal and writing skills

Evaluation, Compensation and Benefits:

Following is an initial estimate of compensation and benefits for this position. The final compensation structure depends on many factors and these numbers are subject to change.

Salary: Competitive base salary plus year-end performance-based discretionary bonus Healthcare: United Health plan and Metlife Dental Insurance Vacation: 15 days per year plus New York Stock Exchange holidays
