While enterprise software has been available for purchase as a suite of programs licensed to a business, businesses can also now use enterprise software on demand. This new model of distribution is called Software as a Service (SaaS). Enterprise-software providers include Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce.com, Adobe, and IBM.
