There is great concern in the field regarding the next pandemic flu strain. Prevention is key here. There is not enough medication to cover all suseptible individuals This new technology using the MF59 adjuvant should allow for enough vaccine to be available.

This observational study shows that there is an increased incidence of heart disease in HIV patients. The question is -Is it the diseae or its therapy? In either case risk factor modification needs to be undertaken. More drugs? Where will the compliance go?
