If clearly shown to be antigenically better, there will be a place for the vaccine in the US market. Otherwise, it will likely be used in those few patients that have a true egg allergy, and cannot take the regular vaccine. How practical is it to have developed this combination vaccine that is only indicated for ONE dose at 4-6 yo??  Think about it: we will be expected to buy, store, and administer this vaccine to children only one time in their life? At what cost? Any added benefit besides one less shot?

This is not exactly the same as seen last year in B&L Renu product. The acantamoeba is commonly found in water. The main problem with Complete is that it does not successfully kill off the acantameoba after a patients contact lenses have been exposed to it.

This is not the same as the Fusarium fungal outbreak seen last year in B&L Renu with Mositureloc product.  This  outbreak is with an Amoeba which is commonly found in water.  The issue with Complete is that it does not successfully disinfect  and kill off this...
