FOR HOTEL DEALS SHOP AROUND - LA VEGAS | www.lasvegassun.com
The benefits to the Nevada casino industry to offer more incentives for both tourist and locals to return to past numbers is vital. The business downturn has taken a toll on all properties. Buyout of Penn National May Involve Revised Terms | www.nytimes.com
Besides the short-term financials, there are good reasons for the deal to be completed. Steve Wynn's plans to build additional convention and hotel space may have to wait. The lending market is not quite what it should be at this time. It may be more prudent to put a hold until the market lightens up a bit. Money has not stopped him in the past though - he always manages to get the cash when needed - he always was the innovator and always had results to prove he was correct in his calculations.
