Reclast will make life much easier for patients with osteoporosis. This study strenghtens this oncept. The ig problem is coverage. Ther is still a lag between the data and payors. Once this is resolved use of Reclast will be the way to go.

We indeed better meds for the treatment of osteoporosis. If it indeed shows fracture reduction besides increased bone density with few side effects it will have a place in the market.The other issue, however, will be the cost and which insurers will cover it now that we have generic fosomax.
