One should consider stroke as a brain attack just as we consider a myocardial infarction a heart attack. Early therapy will protect the brain just as early therapy in heart disease may prevent a heart attack.

Much larger studies are needed before one can say anything. Minocin is known to have antiinflammatory properties and this may be the reason it works. No one should begin using it until a much lager cohort of patients are studied.
