Is the Controversy over the Public Option the biggest Red Herring Ever?
November 20, 2009
Reid Pushes for Votes on Health-Care Bill | www.washingtonpost.com
Nothing has raised the hackles of partisan Democrats and especially Republicans more this year than the public health insurance option. On the left, liberals consider it to be the indispensable component of true healthcare reform. On the right, conservatives refer to it to the first step on the slippery slope to socialism, if not a return to the Third Reich this time in America. Yet, the truth is that its impact will likely be so small, its presence (or absence) hardly merits any debate.

Deficit Plays into Health Reform | www.washingtonpost.com
There is no doubt that a great deal of time, efforts and resources have gone into trying to find a solution to the healthcare problems and concerns that we deal with today. What is not as clear to those who really need these problems solved are the answers thus far. A lot of very smart people seem to have forgotten the actual value of a person. What ever numbers show up on the balance sheet hardly provides any direction to those who care more about dollars and cents than common sense.

A major supplier of clinical development services has just been awarded all of Astra Zeneca's clinical pharmacology work.
