The market place is far from finding a saving grace in 3D, it's still a novelty and will remain one for sometime to come. The lack of any one agreed upon format for 3D leaves the industry little or no chance of main streaming the products. If they get it together and work for a common goal, by combining their efforts, someday maybe it will be more main stream. It's a not a short term play by any extent.
