Despite the gloom and doom of the marketplace, there are bright moments. If you notice, each one of the winners is practical and viable.
Up until the latest economic scare, it looked as if Nortel may have found some suitors for the Metro Ethernet business.
The timeline is a good indicator of the struggle to get WiMAX off the ground. Hopefully, Sprint will find a buyer for its Nextel business and then they can plow the cash into WiMAX
I congratulate Ralph de la Vega. It is not exactly what I had suggested in my article; “AT&T Spending Money On Wireless – I Have Another Suggestion”, but its close enough.
Given the current economy is the debate of LTE versus WiMAX even relevant? I think the answer is yes. The 4G technology decision is relevant to all carriers.
