The title of the article should read New Method Of Adult Stem Cell Growth Treats Corneal EPITHELIAL Disorders. The stem cells discussed are epithelial stem cells. I can see this being useful in many disorders such as Stevens Johnson, Pemphigoid, Alkali burns etc.

The FDA has just approved a "bifocal LASIK" technique from Advanced Medical Optics using their CustomVue Excimer laser platform. It has been approved as " a new device". In actuality, it is neither a new device nor does it provide bifocal vision.
