I am not aware of the inclusion/exclusion criteria for the study reported here, but studies of this sort generally require an endometrial biopsy at the beginning and end of the study to ensure no adverse endometrial effect from the study drug....

There is not enough information to evaluate this procedure. The open procedure is time tested and performed by surgeons. Since a lot of these procedures will not be done by surgoens, complications will arise that the non-surgeon will not recognize. This is dangerous.
