1) The article's claim of the new device's ability to monitor fetal heart rates is both believable and likely to be true.2) The article's claim that this will improve outcomes is both unproven and, in my opinion, unlikely.

This is another technique that will increase cost and not change patient outcome.

WHI had its faults, but studies do show benefit in younger women
