I have used both Tekturna and Tekturna/HCTZ and I have found the combination to be more effective than Tekturna itself.  But I do not think it is worth the extra expense.  You can get great reductions in BP with lotrel which is generic but much cheaper. Tekturna does reduce proteinuria but...

You can give larger amounts of iv iron with Ferumoxytol compared to other IV forms  which in theory is nice but the advantage of the drug is in usage of the predialysis population
