So far Apple has been able to keep the iPod as the world standard, but when we view the iPhone its a different ballgame and a new star player may be in the wings. The phone business is a lot different than the music business and we all will have to watch Google very closely. They could kill of the iPhone....

The basic revenue concept of the iPhone was two parts, first to sell the phone but even more important was to have a continuous revenue stream share with the operator. The first part of this equation appears to be doing just fine, but the second part is falling apart.

WiFi is a food court or airport enterprise. Maybe even a Flying J truck stop? A cheap network at home or for a small office. But we have a long way to go before we have real WiFi.

iPod sales are slowing, Apple needs something new to generate sales.

Has Apple sold 4 million iPhones or 2.6 million iPhones? Have the sales slowed down?

Apple came off a record breaking quarter, but the future does not look so bright- why not and what can they do to get back on track.

Apple failed to show any significantly new and very exciting concepts at MacWorld. While the new thin notebook is impressive it has some drawbacks and is not a breakthrough like last years iPhone.
