Continental decides while it is open to new alliances, it does not want to marry. Rejecting both United and US Airways creates concern for the industry's weakest links. AMR will sit this dance out.

Eos was a fine airline a pioneer in the service model for premium traffic. The ability of the airline to survive the current financial crisis on both sides of the atlantic became obvious very quickly. Is there a message for other airlines at this point?
