Analysis of the article "AT&T U-Verse: 100,000 and Counting"
Author: GLG Expert Contributor

Author: GLG Expert Contributor
Both SBC and the old AT&T (which SBC acquired) have a history of either launching or announcing plans to become major players in video services, which either failed or were not seriously implemented. Does U-verse which is based on a different technology architecture for delivering video services but also confronts a very different competitive landscape than these earlier ventures have a chance...

U-verse Should Be Re-versed
Author: P.J. Louis, President, PJ Louis LLC
·U-verse is really the old Southwester Bell Corporation’s (SBC’s) old Project Lightspeed. Project Lightspeed’s goal was to drive fiber deeper into SBC’s territory using as much of its embedded local loop as possible. ·If I recall correctly, Lightpseed was launched in the early 1990s. ·Now the project’s age has nothing to do with the viability of the approach towards deploying multimedia...
