Analysis of:
GOING PRIVATE: FERTITTAS WILL CASH -TAKE STAKE (Stations Casinos) | www.lvrj.com

Implications: Ron has hit it on the head, this merger is a win/win/win
Analysis: The station going private merger is a win/win/win. Station stockholders cash out at a premium, private equity takes the company and is now not beholden to the stock market and the Fertitta's make great money and reinvest in the new company. These guys have built a great company and now can go do what they want with greater flexibility. In my humble opinion, Green Valley Ranch is still the perfect "locals" casino. I agree with Ron that Red Rock may have been overbuilt for their location but happen to know that they took a giant bite out of the Palms/Rio slot numbers. It will be interesting to ascertain where they go from here but the strip and outside Nevada would be 2 good bets you could take to the london bookies and bet on.
