Summary

Asking company investors and pharmaceutical users their opinions about the drugs that are needed seems like a logical approach to the needs for pharmaceutical drug development.  Hopefully, this unique analysis of company policy will be successful and lead to changes that would be successful to other pharmaceutical development companies.

Analysis

Pharmaceutical company policy is very traditional and has been hesitant to change.  This new management  style of GSK, if successful, might send the pharmaceutical industry in a new direction for drug development.   Although bonuses have been give to executives in pharmaceutical's for years, the attachment of these bonuses to production seems more like the bonuses paid to professional athletes or coaches.
