Wind Power - the real facts

Implications: Governments see wind power as an easy answer to the problem of climate change The public are not being told the real costs both direct and indirect, of wind power

Analysis: The renewables industry have been selling wind power in an irresponsible way. 

The public is asked whether they want wind power, a natural and sustainable source of electricity.  They naturally answer - Yes.

If they were told the real facts about the unreliability of wind which either means substantial additional back up power costs or electricity black outs, would they still answer - Yes.  Of course not!

This article gives a framework to analyse wind projects in any country.
