Summary

In the New World of Voice over IP, Vonage steps out as the leader of the single phone VoIP Solution. They are adding the small features needed in a spoon feeding , slow roll out methodology, and maybe that is what it takes to feed the growing need of the Population. How is Vonage doing, as compared to Verizon and CableVision in their "triple Play of Services"? I think they have a Great Plan.

Analysis

Things appear to be going well for Vonage at this time, including being back on the New york Stock Exchange.. They are marketing themselves as a Voice over Internet ( VoIP) provider and now claiming to be a Software Applications Company. Apple I-Phone and AT&T Mobile have embraced the Vonage Service. Is this just Magic or a repackaging of what Business Users have been using in Systems from Cisco, Nortel, Avaya, etc.?
I believe that Vonage is carrying out a great plan of delivering the VoIP services that have been available to larger Companies on single telephone basis to Individuals, and now attaching those services to the Tremendous Cell Phone User base.
In the VoIP world, such services as low cost international calling, free fax lines, Voice Mail converted to an e-mal with the live attachment, call forwarding, find me-follow me, and a long list of features yet to be utilized by its users are available.
Vonage seems to be slowly rolling out these features to their old clients and attracting new clients and Mobile telephone Companies, as AT&T, and Apple as a partner along the way. Providing these services in a one at a time upgrade is a Good Plan, since it clearly embraces each individual with a single feature at a time, that they can learn to use without being overwhelmed.
Vonage has a great deal more to roll out to the Consumer and also has the opportunity to provide its Manged / Hosted VoIP Services to Small Business, then Medium Business, and eventually Large Business.
My Analysis is positive for Vonage in their Marketing approach and in their methodical plan to grow their potential Client base of users.
