Implications: Union Management has encouraged slowdows in previous strikes at Boeing. Union members in the Greater Seattle area are very active and will inflict financial and mangement loses to Boeing program plans.

Analysis: It will be difficult to slow down the 737 program due to the moving line concept. However, they can attempt to take more time to install parts and even damage parts and then remove them.
The primary areas where slowdowns will be more effective is 747/777/787 airplane programs. Union member will either damage parts or slow down production to delay deliveries.
As cited above, union members are very anti-management if they think managment is being unfair in pension and benefits.
I expect union member want to increase pension plans, as average age of Boeing union members is approximately 50. Union members can retire as early as age 55.
