Implications: His market is European manufacturers. He's known for not following the crowd. He does things "his way".
Analysis: With the whole world eyeing up China, everyone is overlooking a huge market in Russia. Not only for selling product to manufacturers there, i.e., Lada, Gaz, etc. but for export. With Eastern Europe becoming "Euroed" the costs are raising, Russia seems to be the next logical source. This puts him close to his main market, i.e., Western & Central Europe and close to other markets like Southern Asia.
