Implications: Alloderm™  is a human donor product. Strattice™ is porcine and using Strattice™ for cosmetic uses opens up new promotional possibilities.

Analysis: The families of cadaveric donors of Alloderm™ are not generally pleased that their relatives tissue is now enhancing someone else cosmetically.  Reconstructive uses are an easier sell in allowing human donor tissue to be harvested.  Having a porcine product means that cosmetic applications may be promoted and the benefits  should be similar to human derived products.  This also removes concern about human derived diseases being passed with the graft
