Spicy Pickle Without the Spice!
Analysis of:
Spicy Pickle(R) Serves Up Its Initial Public Offering | money.cnn.com

Implications: The basics are here; but the challenge of establishing their difference will be major.
Analysis: It appears that the company has worked hard to establish a base for their concept and beginning to expand the concept. However, I agree with the analysis that there is a lot to watch before the real growth can begin.
The IPO, as mentioned by the president, does give them capital to continue their growth. The challenge is the deli-sandwich are is not "fast-casual"; it is the establishing of an identity among the bulging segment of companies like Subway, Quiznos, etc. that will be the major restriction to growth.
It will be interesting to watch the next move for capital growth, since it appears that they may have fired the first bullet with the IPO too early in the game.
