Implications: Blue Sky has not been able to capture significant market share. VAC, by KCI has cornered the market of negative pressure wound therapy.

Analysis: As director of a large wound care center, I do not feel that Blue Sky has made a significant impact in the market place, regarding negative pressure wound therapy.  VAC, by KCI has cornered this market, and continues to impress me with their support staff and business model.  They also dedicate a significant amount of resources into research and development.

I do not feel that Blue Sky has been able to, or will in the future, compete in this market place.  Although there are some applications for Blue Sky over the VAC, it just has not caught on.
