Analysis
Basically it seems unbelievable, but get use to it. It will be in the US soon enough. What use to be considered a significant help to patients will in the future be considered a significant expense and therefore not approvable. It has not started here and by no means end here. As far as what happens to Roche, I doubt this patient population is large enough to have a major economic impact on the company. It's the impact this ruling , and others like it, will have on future cancer care that will be significant.
