Implications:

This technology is new, but no better than other resurfacing technologies like Sciton and Fraxel. Pain is significant, healing takes weeks, and there are risks as in other resurfacing technologies. The final results are good. A head to head comparison with other technologies is needed.

Analysis: I think that it is a new but not necessarily better method of resurfacing the skin. Sciton, Fraxel, and multiple other companies have similarly effective systems, and a head to head trial is needed. The pain with this procedure is significant, and healing takes weeks.
