Analysis
The current Atypical Antipsychotics have been a disappointment in terms of lack of efficacy and metabolic side effects. Lurasidone seems to show a clear advantage in both these areas over the current drugs. It may be the next blockbuster drug for the treatment of Schizophrenia.
