More negative news for one of America's largest corporations. GM has been improving quality all the time. People think, "Oh, Japanese cars are better". Look at the recalls from Toyota, Nissan and Honda. They have their share of recalls. It's a shame that GM will take the brunt of this due to incompetent suppliers. As usual, they'll pay, but make good on the recall.
Analysis
When your building millions of vehicles a year, you are bound to have some problems. Looking at the bigger picture, think about a millions of trouble free vehicles GM produces. Think about the amount of vehicles with 100k or 200k miles on the odometer. Are imports better? I don;t think so. The 'Asian 3' have had recalls as well.
