MDR & XDR TB is a potentially emerging problem, in RNTCP programme of India, esp their association with HIV co infection,it is giving a great challenge to a TB control programme in India, so the requirement now is to do a Health System Research in Area of TB Management, which can be potentially advantageous to find solution to this problem. This Joint Research Programme between India & sweden focussing on This aspect of TB management will certainly provide new hopes.
