Implications: The investment money market could be reason enough for a delay in the start of Trumps second tower. He would not be the only one taking a second look at finances during this down period. He can look at the Strip and see where Las Vegas is heading. If he wants to make some serious inroads into the gaming business here he needs not to hold back to long. He has a knack for doing what others have failed to do - successfully I might add.

Analysis: The opening of Trumps new hotel and residence should make a very sound statement that Donald has his eye on further ventures. I don't think it is a bad decision to hold off on the construction of his second tower in Las Vegas. The timing for getting funding at the proper percentage should not be to far off. Now that his new tower is off and running he should get a better view of our market. He certainly is the type of guy that will take the bull by the horns when he feels the timing is to his advantage.

I look for Mr Trump to start putting out feelers to drop one or all of his Atlantic City properties. I am fully aware that he said a couple months back that he had decided not to sell. I do think that was just a little bravado on his part. It would mean substantial dollars in his coffers that could easily be used on other projects. Having Donald Trump in the Las Vegas gaming arena is a great move - his competition and know how will keep the face of Las Vegas gaming industry growing. Good competition has never hurt anyone - it only enables other properties to keep on their toes if they wish to stay on top. Las Vegas needs people like Trump to be the #1 tourist destination in the U.S. ...........
