For years it was believed that gaming companies were immune to the ravages of the economy and in the past they had been, but not now. Stations problems stem from a weak economy, high gas prices, lower housing and stock prices, nothing else.
Analysis
The economy for the first time is having a major impact on gaming companies from coast to coast and boarded to boarder. Every major gaming company and market is being impacted and there is very little that can be done to combat it other than to operate efficiently. Stations has great management at both the property and corporate levels and they will came out of this just fine.
