Implications: It would be great to get an unlocked i-phone...

Analysis: Everyone I know would get one...I have the really old at&t calling plan and a sim card.  They will not let me keep my contract so I wont buy the phone until I can use my chip.

I have friends on verizon and other carriers who want the phone but dont like att...

hopefully it will happen in the next few moths.
