Analysis
I applaud the entry of anti Her2 therapy in another cancer type. It would appear to me that it should be evaluated in still more solid cancers to see if the results would be similar and I'm sure they are and I am sure it will. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be having any luck finding a recurrent gastric cancer patient with the Her2 positive status.
Is there a selection preference at play in the trial? I also, would likely have problems getting the drug reimbursed, if I did fine the patient. Let's admit it, even in the very applicable cancer of the breast, women in some countrys, don't have access to Herceptin. These reports are starting to become no more than academic interest, as I see thgird party payors pushing harder and harder to avoid access to cancer treatments.
