Summary

iPhones launch by Apple was clearly premature as mentioned in my previous analyzes dated July 22 2009 titled "Google VOIP apps via Mobile ( blackberry etc.)"and   dated 31st July 2009 titled "Google VOIP apps via Mobile-a sequel".
Like many premature deliveries (babies e.g.),it comes with health complications ( including sending the baby iPhones into a coma!! ).
This tendency to rush into a premature market launch is linked to the desire to be the first in the market place...  etc. etc.

Analysis

1. This desire to be the first in the market place or not to be outdone by other competitors(who may have prematurely launched also a comparable product) leads to a lot of disolusioned customers and ultimately loses credibility in the market place including loss of revenue, reputation and ultimately permanent/temporary loss of clients in many cases .
 2. Clearly, the iPhones launch by Apple  was ill prepared ( and I dare say also other products like Google VOIP etc. ) inasmuch as it does not have stable software ( with far too many bugs ) and the related comms/VOIP software and base operating systems  software are unstable, unreliable and very user unfriendly!!
The product should have never been launched with such instabilities in the base software etc. Amount and level of testing carried out at various stages ( including user pilot launch) was minimal in a desire to rush to the market launch!!
3. In addition, security, reliability, quality and performance of the applications leaves a lot to be desired as mentioned in a plethora of complaints from customers.
4. Before Apple brings the patient out of the coma,I would suggest a good deal of serious surgery and product testing and other related  treatments prior to a re launch!!
