Analysis

There are four private sectors which are part of the nation’s healthcare emergency action plan; federal contractors, transportation providers, research & development firms, and drug manufactures.

Health and Human Services and subordinate organizations has awarded millions and millions dollars in existing contracts to prepare for such an event.  As more flu cases are reported expect many federal contractors to gain more business.

The Transportation Sector is the second key player in the North American response.  Logistics providers with approved “Cold Chains” and a broad transportation networks will benefit.

Other players include niche R&D and drug manufactures will also see new revenues.
