Analysis
I know several of the folks running the Gazillion operation and they are seasoned veterans of the video game industry. From that aspect they are well positioned especially from a marketing stand point. With that being said , they are a few things that bother me about this deal. What were the costs involved in acquiring the Marvel license for such an extended period of time? Will they be focusing strictly on the PC game format or does the license cover console based games for the Wii, PS 3 and 360? Competition in the MMOG space is fierce especially given the that fact that World of Warcraft shows no signs of slowing down.
