Summary
Poor Quality, Poor Service, Out of Date Product
Analysis
I was always an American Car driver, except for my 10 years with British Sport cars in the 1970's, but from 1980 on I realized that the Big 3 Auto Makers in America, were interested in not their customers but their profits and the inability in keeping control of their factorys and their fear of the UNIONS. Poor quality control is a major heacache as well. My 1980 Buick Century had so many problems that could not be corrected by the dealers, due to their lack of proper tools and indifference to me. Poor Engine 1955 V8 converted to V6, bad electronics, horrible brakes. Jaguar used all wheel disc brakes in 1959, American dealers not until the late 1990's. Disc Brake parts are cheaper, but GM, owns Delco Auto parts. Old Fashioned cars, *Bonneville in dealership, for 3 days for engine dying, NO results. Car dies on Street, Gas Station Mechanic found problem in 1/2 hour and repaired. Because of this i now drive Infiniti, and Nissan autos, and they really back their products.Advertising a new chrome bumper is not going to make people want to buy your products.
