Summary

Undoubtedly powerful combination which will help control BP in many patients who have resistant or difficult to control hypertension.

Analysis

Combining ARB1 and direct renin inhibitor is undoubtedly powerful combination which will help many patients with difficult to control hypertension. It will further diminish the need to use alpha 1 inhibitors as a last option for resistant hypertension. It might even alter the basics for treatment of hypertension, including this combo and excluding some others (b-blockers are just on the tail, ready to fall out or is it so?). And of course, cutting one pill short , might help the ever troublesome patient's compliance.
However, I have always had personal reserves considering combos. Regardless of a dosage combinations, at least a certain group of patients will not fit into either one. So in a group of patients combos wont be used because simply the dosage combination won't fit the patient's individual needs.
As a conclusion, this combo will help a certain group of patients, but will not solve all the problems.
