Many wonder how even with the CPSC children made it thru to adulthood. It seemed as though the CPSC had most products regulated, it just lacked the sting necessary to effectuate its basic premise. Well, now it's the manufactures, retailers distributors, importers & resellers that are wondering how they are going to make it to the next year. While there has been little information yet available on interpreting these wide spread new standards, the standards seem clear on very little tolerance & strict compliance. Even of greater significance is the increased budget & staffing for the CPSIA. There are also provisions for State enforcement & protection for Whistleblowers.
