Implications: That fact that this is Circuit City is the article headline only leads way to retail 2008.  Can we take another round of mergers and acquisitions.  Does the independant survive?  How does Circuit City stabalize and survive during an economic crisis.  Is it over for Circuit City?  Soft numbers for the rest of 2008 and into spring of 2009.

Analysis:  Circuit City's problem is management.  What have they done?  What is the new direction?  It is simple as the employees what direction is the company taken and what new is happening.  You will get the same response - NOTHING!!! Disgruntled employees - not so loyal customers and management that refuses to change.  RECEIPE FOR DISASTER!!!What does it take!  KISSBack to Basics. They need to become a "me too" company overnight and follow the footsteps of the leaders sucess stories.  Change does not always mean altering what you have but maybe trying something outside the box.  Without new evolution the company is going to become another retail statistic.  Time to FIRE the management and start fresh - maybe its time we go outside the industry.Fresh new ideas are words that are not in their vocabulary.  If they are going to survive, especially in this retail economic turmoil they need to make changes now or they will not see Christmas 2008.Tom SouzaPersonalized Experts  CEO
