Global character of the question “Bio fuels do harm, aren't they?” let‘s apply holistic approach for assessment of bio fuels acceptability for energy needs. The most objective evaluation of the place of bio fuels in energy transition process could be given by use of outlook and criterions of sustainable development, which requires examining every kind of energy trough joining economical, ecological and social criterions same as taking into account saving of life sources for future generations. Analysis of global energy transition trends shows the main contradiction between burning and not burning kinds of energy.
The problem not directly relates to technology or consumption of bio fuel for energy needs. Firstly we should talk about how a bio fuel production business meets human needs. Only criterion of economical efficiency is applying by evaluation of such business activity now.
Environmental outlook to bio fuels life cycle discovers its harm to surroundings. However, burning results not only environmental damages, but also makes negative impact into safety and health of human. Burning of bio materials for energy purpose could be justified as local and inevitable action in extreme conditions of life like war or catastrophe. It looks as burning of chairs for heating needs. But production of chairs for heating purpose and doing of business on such matter seems not quite rationally.
Temporality of bio fuel use for energy production is determined by necessity to save all life forms – microorganisms, plants, animals and humans. Destruction of a life is not on interest of Humanity, who is the part of a Life. Backwards – the life need a support and responsibility of human. Finally is immoral to approach a life as fuel.
A sense of responsibility and interests of safety of investments should advise to businessmen to choose not burning kinds of energy sources like wind, solar, water, etc. because there are not of extreme conditions now. Extreme conditions are in many low developed countries where lack of food is.
