 This would me the total end of the American Auto industry, if this happens. GM has always been seen as the better car company while Chrysler has always been noted for producing very low quality cars, especially since the 1970's. Even a marriage with Mercedes Bens was useless. Both companies need to take a good hard look at overseas Japansese and other Asian brands before anything else. GM, Chrysler and Ford, still advertise like they are in the 1950's and Other car companies advertise to appeal to TODAYS car buyer.
