Apple iPhone will change the landscape forever
Analysis:
iPhone's most important distinction is the inherent design superiority that flows from collaborative transport/hardware/software and content layers. This raises the benchmark not only from a functionality and design standpoint but, more importantly, it will force OEM's, carriers and content to create alliances that have been entirely absent since the advent of wireless phones. The business model created with a Wireless Carrier/Apple represents a disruptive force in the wireless industry that will shift the fortunes of players not aligning with doing what is immediately necessary to effectively compete with such a successfully bundled product offering.
