In response to Mr. McWilliams article, your opinion was very well articulated, but your synopsis would only work, if we lived in a perfect and non greed driven society.

Analysis

 

Ok, my opinions aren't politically correct, but I've been in business long enough to know, that greed and corruption will destroy any and all free trade agreements.

Mr. McWilliams, your belief is great, but in order to insure we can enforce all of your criteria’s, then every aspect of your opinion would have to be maintained on a daily basis.

If you look at my prior analysis, greed, misappropriation of funds, an inappropriate amount of D.O.T Agents, not to mention corruption and payoffs. These four issues will destroy the ability to maintain the Mexico and American free trade act legally.

As U.S. Citizens, weren't we all lead to believe since the early 90’s that are government would enforce our borders. Wow, what happened?

I always here, Tony, why are you against non American speaking drivers? Over the years, I've watched numerous amounts of American Citizens die, due to this very issue.

I believe in free trade, but I'm also a realist. As businessman and women, why not accept the fact that the cross border agenda will be at best marginal, it will cost Americans jobs, not to mention hinder our economy. You can be guaranteed, within the next five years, the overall operating expenditures of all U.S. transportation companies not to mention U.S. Corporations, will go through the roof.

One last thing, I have a very good friend, who is a proud liberal and he always states, you conservatives are all the same. I then asked him a very straight question, we both have children right? He responded yes.

So my next question was; would you still have the same opinion regarding non English speaking drivers, if your wife and children were killed by one. His response was? Silence! As Americans, we all like to jump on the trendy band wagon, until it hits us on a personal level.
