Irradiate food to kill "germs?" And expect the public to accept it??
Analysis
Give me a break. No one wants genetically engineered food nor will they accept "radiated" products. Additionally I see the industry "cutting corners" and not cleaning produce and other food stuffs enough and thinking the XRAYS will take care of it.
This has been out there for decades. It was a no sell then and I don't see the public as being any more accepting of this technology at this point.
